Unlike "typical" hybrids which are based on iron profiles, the XDS Wide Sole Hybrid heads are designed around fairway wood parameters, and that allows for super high launch characteristics. This set gradually decreases in volume as the loft is increased (where less help is normally needed).

The rearward center of gravity of these heads are enhanced by the rails at the sole that help to power through the grass and prevent digging.
