Universal Brass Shim

This is a universal brass shim.  Many clubbuilders use these as an easy way to fit aftermarket shafts into heads that have a slightly larger inside hosel diameter. "One size fits all" because the shim has collapsible side walls for a variety of uses (see below). Creates a good bond because it allows the epoxy to get everywhere that it is needed, adhering to the shaft, hosel wall, and the shim itself. (Be sure to sand both sides of the shim before installing) Each .15 gauge brass shim weighs a mere 0.75 grams, so there is virtually no effect on swingweight.  

    * used to adapt a .370 iron shaft to as large as a .410 hosel
    * used to adapt a .335 wood shaft to a .350 OEM driver head

    * used to adapt a .335 wood shaft to a .370 hosel (great for using a wood shaft in a .370 hybrid head)
