Adjust the weights in your Dynacraft VLS wedge heads to control your launch angle!
Before now, in order to change a wedge’s trajectory, spin, and amount of roll, you had to buy a different wedge. But now, with the Dynacraft VLS (Variable Launch and Spin) Adjustable Wedge heads, featuring two changeable inserts, (a 3g black aluminum insert and a 17g stainless steel insert) you don’t have to buy a new wedge. Simply changing the inserts changes the center of gravity and makes for two different results!
The attached chart shows an example of the flight difference between the two positions of the inserts. When the stainless steel insert (the heavier one) is at the bottom of the head, the head has a lower and more forward center of gravity (the yellow line on the chart). The blue line shows the (heavier) stainless steel weight at the top of the head, (lighter insert on the bottom) producing a slightly higher and more rearward COG.
In tests, the spin rate of this head changed by as much as 1000 rpms with the higher COG position creating a lower spin rate. Changing out the weights affected many factors, including carry distance, landing angle and amount of roll. This was true not only regarding testing on full shots, but partial shots too.
With the Dynacraft VLS Adjustable Wedge heads, players can now fine-tune their wedge play to adjust to different conditions, the type of ball they use, or just to get the ball to land closer to the hole with their exact swing.
