Really working for me. 0 people found this helpfulOK ... First of all, I'm a senior golfer who at 67, plays 2 or 3 times a week with a current 12 Hdcp. I have played this game for over 50 years and built my own clubs for 20yrs. In the past 10 yrs I've lost considerable distance and consistency with my iron game. I built a set of these irons (4 thru Sw) in an effort to help the quality of my iron striking. I have played 5 rounds with them now and am extremely happy with the way these hybrid-irons are working. No "Pushes, Pulls, Fats, Thins, or Chilly-dip chips" They are standard lofts instead of the strong lofts the new clubsets have....so I do have to use one more club for the same distance than I used to. But.... I don't mind at all hitting a 7 on target all the time verses hitting an 8 all over the place. I have been shooting 83 to 85 on a normal round....My 5 rounds with these irons have been 84, 80, 83(five 3-putts), 78.....and today shot 73 (with NO birdies)....one bogey and 17 pars. Bottom line.....I am really loving the consistency of distance and target line with these clubs. Value Golf provided top notch customer service with the purchasing and shipping of good quality components for me. Couldn't ask for a better experience and result.... Thank you Value Golf H.A. Love these hybrids 0 people found this helpfulBought the 9 hybrid to complete my full set. Paired it with Integra Idrive shaft. Very easy to hit due to low center of gravity. With my slower swing speed these are more consistent.
