Great head 0 people found this helpfulBought this mini driver to build for my golfing buddy as he does like 460mm heads. I built one for myself (different brand) and he asked me to build him one rather than pay over $400 for a OEM brand. Played 18 holes with him yesterday and he was crushing drives 280 average. He can’t thank me enough for new driver, he is playing in local senior tournament M-T so it couldn’t have come at a better time. If golfers are struggling with big driver heads this mini is your answer with a lot more distance than your fairway wood. Solid club and very quick delivery from Value Golf.

Solved my issues on the tee 2 people found this helpfulI am a 70 year old guy who has played most of my adult life, and I have always struggled with my driver. I have difficulty hitting up on the ball as most would agree is necessary for an effective drive with a conventional club. I built this club with the Apollo Shadow FL graphite shaft in a senior flex. I made it a standard 43" in length. I cannot express how great this club is for me. I am hitting it consistently around 200 yards, usually right down the middle. I have found that the most critical part of being successful with this club is making sure you get the tee height right. I have the best results with the ball teed up so that about 1/4 (not 1/2) of the ball diameter is above the head. I am using 1 1/4" height tees, the ones most would use with irons on par threes. Most of my playing partners are 60+, and many are financially able to spend $400 or more on "professional" drivers. When they see me equal their driving distances, they all ask "let me see that club". When I tell them my club cost less than $100, they just walk away, shaking their heads, and looking at their very expensive equipment.
