Recently I bought a Pinhawk 7 Hybrid to compare with my Pinhawk irons. This hybrid is more forgiving than the irons. I can hit it longer than its iron equivalent and I hit straight and high more consistently. It is easier to chip with and trying it in sand was very encouraging. I plan to buy more of these hybrids, including a wedge, plus a couple of Pinhawk fairway woods very soon and can imagine dropping irons altogether.
