This is a little long winded, but it might help someone. My favorite driver in the world is a TM R11 with a Blur shaft in Regular flex. It fits me perfectly. Someone gave me another R11 driver in stiff flex. Couldn't hit it. Having been a club builder for over 30 years, I decided to play around a bit and try this shaft. I made myself a flex board and marked the Blur shaft flex, then put the Acer shaft on it and kept moving it down the board until it was the same flex as the Blur. Cut it the same length and took the two of them out and tried it out. Couldn't tell the difference. I bought an R11 3 wood on Ebay in extra stiff pretty cheap, bought another Acer shaft and flexed it the same as the driver and put it on the 3 wood. I still play the 3 wood and driver to this day. I never did look at a trim chart for this shaft, I went totally by the flex board. I have since put this shaft onto clubheads for other friends with great results.
