Excellent distance, easy to hit 0 people found this helpfulI paired these with Apollo Stepless steel shafts and sting stopper inserts. I am very happy with the results, Great Distance compared to my old set and very easy to hit. Really well made castings as well.

Single Length might be the way to go! 0 people found this helpfulBuilt 6-AW for my wife using the black Acer Velocity L-flex graphite shafts and Karma velvet grips in color red, the finished clubs look awesome. Initial assessment: Vertex heads were listed as 275 grams but here are actually numbers: 6 (273), 7(274), 8(274), 9(273), PW(273), AW(277). The six Karma grip weights where spot-on as listed. I built 6-PW at 35 1/2" and AW 35 1/8" due to heavier head weight. I had "tipped" 9-PW as a 7-iron shaft due to head weights, 1/8" less for 8-iron, 2/8" less for 7-iron, and 3/8" less for 6-iron. These tip cuts produced soft tips but not too whippy. All clubs had final swing weight between C3 - C3.5. My wife played 9 holes of golf and shot a personal best of 44. Most shots had a nice trajectory and landed soft with very little roll out. Her 6-iron shots were only about 10 yards less than her previous clubs but very accurate. Funny part of this is she didn't even realize all irons were same length until I told her after the round...Amazing!!!

Easy to Hit 0 people found this helpfulGreat iron heads for my single length experiment. I liked that they could be paired with variable length clubs. The heads are a little bigger than I’d like, but the clubs are very easy to hit.
