As the most-used club in your bag, your putter shaft selection is not to be waved off as inconsequential. ValueGolf.com carries several different choices for your putter, all of them steel shafts by Apollo for a strong, reliable feel.

The length of your putter can mean the difference between putting straight and constantly being off-center. One thing to keep in mind is that the shaft of your putter should fall in line with your forearm when you’re in the address position. One mistake many players make is to select a putter length that is too long, but at the same time, a too-short putter will make you more prone to lower-back pain. Striking the ideal balance will vastly improve your short game.

The most common length is the standard 32-36 inch shaft. We carry 36 inch straight putter shafts and single-bend putter shafts, as well as a 35 inch double-bend putter shaft. The philosophy behind the traditional putter shaft is that the comparatively short length lets the putter be like an extension of your arms, allowing them simply to hang down while you grip the putter. This makes for a "pendulum" stroke, giving the ball the truest roll possible.
