3++ 0 people found this helpfulThese shafts are too stiff for a A/L rating. I have been building clubs for at least 5 years. I used my deflection board and compared them to a Fujikura and. KBSMax 55. These were the stiffest. I built a Acer hybrid 4 but I left the tip untrimmed. Ignore the trim chart IMHO. . I trimmed the 5 by 1/2”. I am happy with the results.

The only shafts I use are Shadow UL Graphite shafts 1 people found this helpfulI build my own clubs so I am interested in the usability of shafts as well as the price of shafts. The Apollo Shadow FL and UL Graphite shafts are the only shafts I still use to make clubs. They give excellent distance and are durable. Also they look great.
