nice shaft, excellent value 0 people found this helpfulthese shafts make it so much easier to add build up grip tape versus the stepped version. they basically play the same as the stepped, and are very much worth the small extra cost.

Apollo Stepped Steel 0 people found this helpfulI'm surprised that the Apollo Stepped Steel doesn't get mentioned in any of the golf forums that I frequent. These are really nice feeling shafts. I just installed these in a set of XV Pro heads at standard length and tipped at regular flex. Nice medium high flight. I always liked heavier shafts but I never cared for the stiffness that comes along with most models. The Apollo Stepped Steel shaft tipped at regular flex is right in the sweet spot for me. They feel and play as good as any of my TT & KBS shafts in this weight category.

I built myself a set of clubs with the Apollo stepless shafts and I can honestly say I like them better than Dynamic Golds and KBS that have been in my previous sets. It's truly amazing the feel, responsiveness, and ball flight that rivals big name shafts that are 5x the price.
