Replaces driver and 3 wood 1 people found this helpfulBefore I order the Theiver Mini Driver, I was using a GX-7 as my driver and it was working. I ordered the Thriver Mini to see if I could hit it for a 3 wood as well as a driver and I am pleased to say it does work both off the tee and off the fairway. The sound it makes when you hit it solid reminds me of the persimmon driver and 4 wood I used years ago. I did upgrade the shaft to the MSC orange, ordered a mid size grip, had the spine alignment and shaft vibration insert. I hit this as far as most my age hit their driver and I don’t miss the fairway. The added bonus of a 3 wood that is easy to hit makes this a real deal.

This mini-driver feels great and swings with much better control than larger, conventional drivers. I really like how easy ValueGolf makes it to order custom fit clubs - I ordered mine with a slightly shorter shaft and with oversized grips. Really looking forward to playing this club!
