I purchased these to build for a friend. They were ordered -2° flat. I was very impressed with the Value Golf service and the overall quality of the club. A set of these may make it into my own bag!

As an 11 handicap I want 50/50 feel and forgiveness. These are that.

Built these and have played them in two rounds and use them for a handful of range sessions. Definitely good quality irons and they look great too. My friend and I switched off at the range before a round, he has Callaway Steelhead XRs, and both of us were still getting the same distances and accuracy as we would with our own clubs. I built these with Apollo Stepped Steel shafts trimmed to a stiff flex. Would definitely recommend these to someone looking to built a set of affordable irons.

I bought the 7i thru PW and paired them with the FST 125 shaft cut to stiff flex and the ProD2x grip. These clubs are replacing my Adams XTD Forged irons. I am about a 12 handicap and I really like a better players iron but don't want a blade. The Acer XV Pros fit the bill. I have only hit them a few times but the strikes feel very nice and I am getting the distances I am expecting from clubs that have more traditional lofts. each new club is less than $20 to build with head, shaft and grip. A great value.
