Acer XV Tour Blade Iron Heads 4 people found this helpfulthese are outstanding, i tried going to the game improvement heads but just could never get used to the help that they provide. put a set 5-pw with stepless apollo shafts and they are outstanding. my game has improved in a couple of weeks even with the loft difference i havent really seen a loss in distance but just the sound and feel of a well struck ball is enough to make this a positive.

I did not really like the amount of bounce, so I bent the entire set about 4 degrees stronger & reduced the bounce at the same time. Workability is top notch & mishits are not bad at all.

One of the best values in golf. 2 people found this helpfulI’m a 1 handicap with a low ball flight. With my previous brand name irons, I struggled when a higher flight was needed. I’m about 10 rounds in with these Acer heads, and doing much better at controlling my ball flight. These have a great “soft steel” feel, in a thinner head, with much more forgiveness than traditional blades. Excellent affordable option for single digit handicap players. Surprisingly didn’t sacrifice any distance from my previous set. These paired great with the Apollo stepless steel iron shafts. I recommend the silver ring ferrules for a good look. My only knock (4 stars on quality) is because the aesthetics on the back of the head are okay but not amazing, but I could make 4-6 sets of these clubs for the price of 1 set of high end brand name irons.
