Good quality and plays well, but shipping cost almost doubled the price 0 people found this helpfulI bought this driving iron (1 iron 15 degree loft) out of curiosity after seeing one at a used sporting goods shop that looked like a mini-sledge hammer, or a double-thick putter. This isn't it. It's a 1 hybrid with the same loft as my 2 hybrid. It does drive lower, more like my 3 iron, but further - which is good. But distance is similar to my 2 H. Cost was reasonable, but I guess I've gotten spoiled by Amazon Prime and "reasonable" disappeared with shipping charge, which was almost as much as the club.

Good for the price- need graphite/lighter shaft 0 people found this helpfulLooks great at address. Tough to get in the air for a hybrid off the deck but great off the tee. Will buy again but with a graphite shaft not steel.

Easy to Hit Iron Like Hybrids 0 people found this helpfulI found these on the hybrid page but they are numbered like irons and you can purchase a full set of them like irons. The heads are small, much more like a hollow backed iron than a typical full sized hybrid. The head is made up of two pieces. The face is very much iron like and the back area is more typical of a hybrid. The quality of construction, the fit and finish, is quite good. I was looking to replace my Cleveland 3 hybrid (19 degrees) and my Cleveland 3 wood (15 degrees) with hybrids that I could have made with the same shafts and grips as my irons. I am left handed so my choices were limited. Value Golf, as usual, was able to accommodate me. I purchased the Select 5000 2 hybrid (18 degrees) and 1 hybrid (15 degrees). I had them built with Aerotech Steel fiber his880 graphite hybrid shafts and Pure Pro Black grips. They have blended beautifully with my irons that have Aerotech Steel Fiber shafts and Pure grips. I hit the 2 hybrid at least as far and straighter than my old hybrid and I hit the 1 hybrid at least as far and straighter than my old 3 wood. It helps, I think, that I have better shafts in them than the clubs they replaced. Regarding the 1 hybrid, I think it helps that the shaft is shorter than the 3 wood it replaced and I still get 3 wood distance. I am very pleased with these clubs as I equipped them and they have my recommendation.

Only used them 2 times so a little early to review. 0 people found this helpfulI’m 80 years of age. I have rounds under my age on a regular basis. I needed to replace some of my longer irons due to my slower swing speed. I’m hitting the 5000 hybrids pretty pure. The only issue (mine) is, I’m pulling them a little. Im confident with a few more rounds, I will make the adjustment and realize the benefits I ordered them to achieve.
