Here is a long steel shaft extender for .580 steel shafts. It has a tapered insertion section at both ends and has a 6 inch middle, so it is able to be used for two extensions (up to 3 inches long each) when cut in half. The long insertion section also helps for better adhesion. The .580 size fits many shafts, including many putter shafts.
