The Acer XDS driver head is a sharp looking head designed for golfers that want to experience a nice, distance-enhancing draw off the tee.
This head features internal heel-weighting, which shifts the center of gravity closer to the hosel and assists in squaring up the face at impact to produce that 'baby draw' that most golfers desire. The head can enhance the gear effect to produce a 'draw spin'.
Combine those features with the lighter crown and increased head mass and you'll likely find a greater energy transfer to the ball as well as great forgiveness. The head comes with a stock 7 gram screw, but additional optional weight screws (2 gram and 12 gram) are available here to fine tune swing-weight to accommodate different assembly lengths. A common allen wrench is used to swap screws (not included).
