The SteelFiber i125 is generally preferred by stronger players looking to maintain the overall club weight and effort it takes to swing steel shafted irons, but want to benefit from the stability of the SteelFiber and the vibration dampening characteristics of a graphite shaft. The i125 provides a low penetrating ball flight. Even the strong player can now take advantage of the reduced vibrations of a composite shaft, resulting in fewer injuries and less fatigue during the round.
With the SteelFiber i125, a graphite shaft can provide the tight dispersion a strong golfer desires with the benefits of graphite. Aerotech SteelFiber iron shafts have been put in play by many PGA Tour Pros, including Brandt Snedeker, Matt Kuchar, and others (the list grows with each passing tournament).
Keep in mind, that in Aerotech iron shafts, ALL taper tip (.355) shafts are cw (constant weight). If you are looking for 'non-cw' you are probably looking for the i125 Parallel tip (.370). Again, there's no such thing as an i125 Taper Tip shaft that is not 'cw'.

What is the overall length of the shaft
Taper tip shafts are discreet lengths. (Each number is a different length). In the case of most Aerotech, a 3 iron is 40", 4 iron 39 1/2", 5 iron 39", 6 iron 38 1/2", 7 iron 38", 8 iron 37 1/2", 9 iron 37", and wedge shaft 36 1/2". Plenty of length for overlength clubs. These are, of course, butt cut only, as are all taper tip shafts.
