The SK Fiber Hypersonic is a lightweight shaft to enable the golfer to maximize clubhead speed and distance. But where the Hypersonic shines is that fact that they are counterbalanced.
Normally only found in more expensive shafts, counterbalancing allows for a couple different advantages: 1) More weight in the hands has resulted in more consistent shotmaking and distance for some players (hence the popularity of butt counterweights). 2) You can build longer clubs to have a more comfortable swingweight if swingweight is something that concerns you.
All in all, for the money, the SK Fiber Hypersonic is a great shaft designed to fit a wide array of players! Not only that, but we also offer the Hypersonic in Blue for your drivers, fairway woods, and putters.
Please note: This is a combo flex shaft, in other words the shaft when built is trimmed to the flex desired. Because of this, there is no flex designation on the shaft itself. Be assured that we will build it to the flex you choose. Also, if you order Ladies flex, please be aware that it will be built to a standard mens length. If you want a shorter length, you can choose that in the options.
