Better than I anticipated 1 people found this helpfulBroke my Aerotech steel fiber 3 wood shaft on a root I didn't see in two places. After round went back to club golf shop and they had a 13 degree 3 wood with a TrueTemp LR200 steel shaft in it (Girls Club) LR is Lady's Regular. Bought it till I got my 3 wood fixed and was impressed with steel shaft in a wood. I found this Apollo Stepless Steel Wood Shaft and decided to do my repairs with it and see how it performed compared to the True Temp LR200 on a 13 degree strong head which is no longer available. Now I have a 15 degree Titleist 3 wood with a steel shaft that I hit further than the 13 degree 3 wood emergency club I purchased. It is a little heavier than my old 3 wood with the AeroTech shaft but I hit it further and just as straight. So now I have a Win-Win situation. As you can tell I to believe in steel shaft in a fairway wood now. Thanks GolfGods!

Great Senior shafts 1 people found this helpfulI had been having trouble getting any kind of height on my Callaway Epic driver, 15 degree and 19 degree TaylorMade Model 200 fairway woods with "R" flex graphite shafts, so I went "old school" and reshafted all of the heads with the Apollo shafts tipped 3/4" and cut to std. length for the 3 clubs. The added "kick" to the club not only made it easier to get the ball flying higher, but it also added about 7 yards to each club. I wished I had done this earlier and avoided the aggravation of trying different setups to get the ball flying higher. I am 70 years old and really enjoying the performance of my newly shafted clubs.
