Thought it would be stiffer 0 people found this helpfulPlayed around at Mt. Woodson today with my older Rawlings driver with new steel shaft that replaced original graphite aldila shaft. my Rolling three and five wood are the most reliable clubs I own. So obviously I thought, why not do the same with my driver. Well today I figured out I cannot crush it off the tee like I was thinking however, off the fairway I can attack the hole without hesitation. I can now honestly say that I have a kick ass fairway driver! Really excited and have a cool story every time I whip it out. ⛳️????????♂️????????

STEEL IS PERFECTION 0 people found this helpfulI JUST ORDERED THIS SHAFT. 30 YRS AGO I PLAYED STEEL SHAFT DRIVER AVERAGED 320 DRIVES WITH PERSIMON HEAD AND STEEL SHAFT DRIVER @ 43" JACK NICKLAS PLAYED A SHORT DRIVER ALSO, WHERE I GOT THE IDEA. I JUST PUT SOME IRONS TOGETHER WITH X-STIFF SHAFTS AND WILL MAKE THE DRIVER STIFF PLUS. WHAT I LOVE ABOUT STEEL IS HOW STRAIGHT THE BALL GOES. I WENT TO A LONG DRIVE CONTEST, HIT 6 BALLS 316 YARDS DOWN THE LINE THAT YOU COULD COVER WITH A BUCKET. THE GUY MEASURING GOT IN CART AND CAME AND HAD TO TELL ME I WAS THE ONLY GUY TO EVER DO THAT! MADE ME FEEL PRETTY SPEACIAL. DID NOT WIN THE LONG DRIVE BUT EVERY ONE KNEW WHAT I DID! I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YRS TO FIND A STEEL DRIVER SHAFT. NOW I WILL TRY IT AGAIN! AND WHAT IS GREAT IS THE PRICE. I CAN CUT AND PLAY WITH DIFFERENT SHAFTS UNTIL I GET THE RIGHT ONE AND NOT COST ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! DO YOU SELF A FAVOR AND GO TO STEEL YOU WILL LOVE THEM IN A DRIVER. LIKE ANOTHER GUY SAID! NO TWIST LIKE GRAPHITE SHAFTS.

Quality shaft at good price. 0 people found this helpfulThis steel shaft is a quality product and what I was looking for. Great price and altho not the fault of Value Golf, USPS took 8 days to get me the shaft even with 2 day priority mail. Pay the extra and ship UPS.

Ditch the graphite 2 people found this helpfulI bought one of these shafts (spine aligned) on a whim thinking it might help me with driver accuracy. I'm a 7 handicap, play a draw, and I've never been comfortable with the torque you get with graphite shafts, even the premium ones. This was the best purchase I've made in decades. I installed this shaft in my Titleist 917 D3 and could tell the difference immediately. Steel just has a different (better) feel than graphite (older golfers that grew up with steel driver shafts know what I mean) and it's much easier to keep track of the clubhead. Do yourself a favor and give this shaft a try.
