Making the leap to hybrids. 0 people found this helpfulI assembled the Acer 3, 4, and 5 hybrids a few years ago and found I hit them further and much more solidly than my cavity backs. Tried an assembled iDrive 1 hybrid a few times over the winter and, based on results, (hit it further than 3W and almost as far as Driver) decided to put one in my bag. As a senior golfer, I've lost confidence in my short irons, so I also bought 6 thru PW iDrive hybrids. Not assembled yet but they are sharp looking. Will update playability rating once I try them out.
