A More Accurate Way to Knock the Ball Down The Fairway 0 people found this helpfulThe Thriver performs exactly as advertised. It is basically a 2 wood. The head looks as big as any modern 460cc driver. However, it has a 12 degree loft and shorter shaft, more like s 3 wood. With the Thriver, I've lost 10-15 yards off my drives but I'm hitting the fairway 75% of the time instead of 50%. I'll take that trade anytime, especially because I'm a fairly long hitter to begin with. It is the accuracy that I crave. Don't scimp on the shaft and grip. The correct shaft is really important.
