Love the 7 wood 0 people found this helpfulWanted to try a 7 wood. We have a lot of elevated greens at my home course and I wanted something I could launch high and carry 175-180 I do not play single length clubs, but the specs on this head were similar to other 7 wood component heads (volume, weight, lie and loft) from various sites with the loft on the higher end (24°) and the weight is closer to a 5 wood head. Many other 7 wood heads that I saw were in the 225-230g range. I gave it a shot and paired it with a UST-Mamiya Proforce V2 and cut to a 41.5" playing length Fantastic addition to my bag. Hits long and high, as I had hoped, and also great out of fairway bunkers. To me it carries like a 180 yard 8 iron. Just what I wanted/needed. My 4 hybrid has been in the closet ever since I built it. Can't comment on the 3 & 5 wood, since I don't play single length, but the 7 wood is great.
