Holy Cow!!! 0 people found this helpfulI have been building clubs for going on 30 years. For the last fifteen or more I have not been able to hit a 5 or 3 fairway wood at all (built, bought or otherwise). I built the full set of single length irons and absolutely love them (if only I can get a reliable 7-iron swing...)! I liked the look of the fairway woods so thought I'd give them a shot. Paired them with a basic Apollo steel shaft and Dri-tec mid-sized grips at 41 1/2 inches. Holy Cow! I am able to hit the 7 ~ 175 yards, the 5 ~ 195 and RELIABLY hit the 3 215 on the nose! What a great feeling knowing I can attempt to hit par 5s in two and a safe 3-wood off of the tee! Only drawback is the cost per head, but I can swallow it with the reliable performance.

sean wrenn 0 people found this helpfulBoth the three wood 16 degrees and 5 wood 20 degrees are very solid and well made components------perfect for a shortened version of a 3 wood and a five wood giving good distance

Super Solid Head 0 people found this helpfulI have been clubmaking for many years and have tried most component heads. A few have stuck out being super solid. This head goes in that group. I built the 3 with a Fubuki 65 AX fairway shaft and trimmed it 42". It very solid and easy to hit off of tight lies. I will probably add the other two heads to the bag as well.
